Organization of the Society

Coordinating Committee

This committee is responsible for determining the direction of business foundation and public relations of the Society.

Research and Development Committee

This committee is responsible for the advancement of existing technologies and the development of new technologies. The working groups under the committee also conduct demonstration experiments.

Standardization Committee

This committee is responsible for creating standards and specifications for the results of the Research and Development Committee.

International Activities Committee

This committee is responsible for international cooperation and standardization in the field of ITS, and serves as the domestic secretariat for ISO/TC204, ISO/ITE, and other working groups. It is also involved in international standardization in the field of ITS, and is committed to international cooperation in the field of ITS through such forums as the ITS World Congress.
